BIBLE ACTIVITIES

I subscribed to Danielle's Place for a year and we really enjoyed the use of all the excellent templates and extras that come along with the subscription. Very worthwhile! You will find so much more here than just Bible activities but I found the Bible lesson plans particularly helpful for young children.

Mathwire has fabulous fun maths activites and free prinatble resources and worksheets! We love this one. :-)

LANGUAGE ACTIVITIES

Five in a Row is a litereature rich curriculum that both myself and my children have benefited greatly by!

Five in a Row was created by Jane Claire Lambert, a successful home-school teacher with more than 17 years experience. Five in a Row provides students with a unit-study approach to early education based on outstanding children's literature.

Homeschool Share is a cooperative effort of several homeschooling moms to provide free but quality literature-based unit studies and resources. They are an amazingly creative bunch! Lots of fun!

Better Children's Books is a great site if you are looking for guidelines to choose good books for your kids to read. Lots of reading helps, tips and book suggestions too.

FUN GEOGRAPHY

Kids National Geographic is a wonderful resource with loads of pictures, crafts, video clips and fact sheets.

FUN CRAFTS

When my children were younger, we did a lot of the wonderful activities that theses two sites have to offer:

  • DLTK's Printable Crafts for Kids (I think my daughter exhausted their cut and paste activities! We made a book for her to paste them all in!)

  • First-School Preschool Crafts and Activities
  • Crayola has lots of colouring pages, crafts and activities can be found at this site.

The Toymaker has a range of paper crafts and toys for you to make- beautiful templates to make a wide range of fabulous things- worth taking a look at! :-)

Kinderart has loads of ideas for the budding artist- one of our favourites here was making this Art Book.
